The House of the Dragon season 3 trailer arrives online after a CCXP Mexico panel over the weekend.
It's all-out fire and blood as Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) mounts Syrax and Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) burns everything to the ground.
Matt Smith promised a "bigger, bolder, bloodier, more brutal, more dangerous" season out of CCXP.
The new House of the Dragon season 3 trailer unleashed Monday after first screening at CCXP Mexico over the weekend.
Showrunner and lead writer Ryan Condal promised early on that season 3 goes "very hot very, very quickly," and the trailer leans into that. "The people that were waiting and waiting for all of the horrible, brutal, pitiless bloodshed will be getting it in copious amounts," he previously told Entertainment Weekly.
Stars Matt Smith (Prince Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Dowager-Queen Alicent Hightower), and Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole) attended the international convention at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City on Saturday, while Condal videoed in.
"This is a huge season," Condal said of the Game of Thrones prequel. "It’s the biggest we’ve made by any margin and by a wide measure. It is dark, it’s funny, it’s action packed, it’s emotional, and, of course, it has lots and lots of dragons."

Smith noted how the cast and crew were "trying to make it bigger, bolder, bloodier, more brutal, more dangerous" and to "get back to the nuts and bolts of what we are as a show."
