You can take the girl out of Whoville, but you can't take Whoville out of Taylor Momsen.
The 32-year-old, who played Cindy Lou Who in 2000's "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas," revealed she can "kind of" still fit in her iconic "Grinch" dress in footage she shared from a wardrobe fitting.
In the video, which Momsen shared in a Dec. 22 Instagram post, she attempts to lift the red-and-green plaid mini dress above her head, only to find that her arms are too "jacked" to fit in the puffy sleeves. She then lowers the dress to give it an off-the-shoulder style.
"I can wear it like that," she says.

She later wears the altered dress in a photoshoot, accessorized, of course, with Cindy's signature red cape.
Momsen was 6 years old when she took on her breakout role opposite Jim Carrey, who played the dastardly Grinch. She's recently paid homage to the film, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, by recording a reworked version of "Where Are You Christmas?" which she sang in Ron Howard's film.
The rock track even begins with the original recording of her singing as a kid.
Her band, The Pretty Reckless, also released the slowed-down version of the song, "Christmas, Why Can't I Find You," in their six-track EP, "Taylor Momsen's Pretty Reckless Christmas."
Momsen and Carrey had a warm reunion at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Nov. 8, almost exactly 25 years after their live-action film came out. During their interactions, she later recounted to People, Momsen kept thinking Carrey "felt like home to me."

"I just love that he was very protective of me. He was always very kind," Momsen told People at the event. "And just the entire experience of filming Grinch and getting to know him so well, even in all the makeup, was just wonderful."
She continued, "As a young person watching an artist at work and taking their craft so seriously, that left a really powerful, lasting impact on me as an adult now. And I'm excited to be able to tell him that as a grownup."
